Enrollment Info Dual Immersion at Castro is open for enrollment for Kindergarten and 1st grade students from all neighborhoods in Mountain View Whisman School District and subject to MVWSD's open enrollment process for a Choice program. During the enrollment process with the MVWSD, you will select Dual Immersion (DI) as your Choice program, then wait for the lottery decision from the district. Lottery results are normally mailed in late March. If the lottery result is unfavorable, you may remain on the wait list until January of the following year. Your child will most likely be placed in your neighborhood school while you wait. Occasionally, the district allows later admissions as well. (MVWSD presently does not allow inter-district transfers into the DI Program.)
